Bitcoin Timestamping for Proof of Existence

Here’s what you get with our service:

  • Cryptographic anchoring of the file’s fingerprint on Bitcoin blockchain
  • Fingerprint calculated locally (privacy by design)
  • Official legal PDF proof certificate
  • Your block on the Bitcoin blockchain as universal and permanent guarantee

Why Blockchain

  • Immutability: once recorded, the proof cannot be altered.
  • Public proof: a reference verifiable by anyone, anywhere.
  • Privacy: we only record the fingerprint; the file stays with you.
  • No intermediaries: independent proof, without blind trust in third parties.
  • Global validity: a single registration, recognizable anywhere.

FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Select the file to protect.
  2. You will get your unique SHA-256 fingerprint.
  3. Copy the fingerprint and paste it into a .txt text file.
  4. Compress the original file together with the .txt file into a .zip archive.
  5. Come back here and click PAY NOW.
  6. After payment, upload the .zip file on the next page.

Tip: rename the text file to something like hash.txt and keep it inside the .zip next to the original file.

Procedure

1 · Upload your file

Choose the document, idea, or project you want to protect. Nessun contenuto viene reso pubblico: resta solo tuo.

2 · Blockchain Registration

We create an indelible trace proving your idea existed at a specific date. This proof is embedded on the Bitcoin blockchain, the most secure in the world.

3 · Proof & Verification

You receive a digital receipt you can show anytime to assert your rights. Later, just compare it with your file to prove authenticity.

VERIFY YOUR TIMESTAMP

Guide: protect your idea at its best

1 · Create a ZIP file

Include as much material as possible: documents, texts, images, drafts, projects, website structure, contracts — everything that demonstrates authorship of the idea.

2 · Upload from HOME

Go to the Upload section and upload your ZIP. You will receive an .ots code confirming the request: save it inside the same ZIP folder.

3 · Registration within 72 hours

Within 72 hours you’ll receive the Bitcoin blockchain registration code that certifies the existence of your file globally, making your idea protected and tamper-proof.

Result: a technical and legal proof etched on the Bitcoin blockchain — immutable and valid worldwide.

FAQ

What is a blockchain?

A blockchain is a distributed, append-only ledger: a chain of blocks where each block contains data (e.g., transactions) and the cryptographic hash of the previous block. This linkage makes the whole chain tamper-resistant.

How it works (quickly):

  1. Operations are grouped into a new block.
  2. A unique fingerprint (hash) of the block is computed.
  3. The block includes the previous block’s hash, forming the chain.
  4. The network approves the block via consensus (e.g., Proof of Work/Stake).
  5. Once added, changing it would require rewriting all subsequent blocks.
  • Decentralization: no central authority; many nodes share the same ledger.
  • Transparency: on public chains the history is verifiable by anyone.
  • Security: cryptography + consensus make forgery extremely hard.

In practice, it’s like a public ledger where every page (block) is linked to the previous one and approved by the network — a reliable way to record information without trusting an intermediary.

Do you upload or store my file?

No. The fingerprint is computed locally in your browser. We only record the fingerprint (non-reversible).

What does the blockchain proof show?

It proves that content with that specific fingerprint was recorded on Bitcoin at least by the reference date. It does not reveal the content and does not certify your identity.

How do I verify later?

Recompute the fingerprint of the original file and compare it to the one included in the proof. If they match, you have integrity and a public reference on Bitcoin.

What if I lose the file?

The fingerprint cannot reconstruct the content. Keep safe backups of the original file: the proof demonstrates existence and integrity; it does not recover the content.
